Santur, Santouri, Santour or Santoor - nailed cymbals (a kind of ancient Hungarian cymbals ) of Babylonian origin, currently played in several countries around the Balkans, Middle East and Eastern Europe. This library was deeply chosen to give the composer a great instrument made in very different colors of sound thanks to the use of three sets of hammers (wooden, semi soft and soft hammers) and three different dampener configurations (no long hold dampeners, one staccato damper, two dampeners for staccatissimo). Two microphone positions, over six thousand samples and quarter-tone tuning options make this library a very versatile tool that every type of user performs. Our CHAOS engine has also been added to multiply the textures and possibilities this library has to offer. We hope you enjoy using this library the way we loved doing for you.
